Cant find my large collection of mp3 files, it just disappeared, what a big mistake to have upgraded!

I reset my iPad and started loading my favorite apps back on it and vlc got replaced by this garbage? Shame on you developers. You took the best free streaming app that was on the App Store and reduced it to this garbage. No one should pay for a free video player.

The original installation had a few complications, however persistence prevails ! The original issue may have been caused by a firewall, however by using the helper guide that accompanies the product as well as online searching some of the messages (changing a few setting in VLC itself) it worked !!!!! Now I can go room to room with the iPad and have a moving entertainment system to connect to any LCD screen ! Totally awesome ! Your installation may be far smoother than mine as I do have a dynamic firewall. Defenitly worth the download and the purchase.

Latest update has a serious bug. When a movie opens, an ad for iAd starts, plays for 30s-2m while message displays saying "its taking unusually long"; the movie then starts but after 30s-2m, the ad etc starts again and keeps doing this all the way through. Thank goodness I didnt buy it. Used to be really good.

Tricked me into downloading and then said it would not work without my downloading a program to my computer. Watch out!

I understand the need to monetize via ads. I really do. I tried to watch one minute of a sample video uploaded on my Dropbox just to give a try, living -disgusted- with an ad bar that takes 20% of my iPad Air 2. Then switching back to the videos list a fullscreen ad of 10 seconds popped out. Im an user of VLC since 2001 and I know well its power. I would prefer a demo version with cutted features, limited time usage or whatever, and I will probably consider buying the full version. These ads-everwhere pratices do not push me to try then buy the full version, it just pushed me in hurry to remove it from my device. I really cant stand invasive ads. This is a turndown. Deleting and looking for other solutions.

Im trying to steam a 22 minute long (300MB) MKV video from a site, but it just crashes the app. Ive been able to stream other videos, but then it stopped working all of the sudden.

It either doesnt have a sound after commercials came up at the beginning, or it crushes in the middle of the show and results in the whole rebooting of my iPad. I use the app in case of very important situations where I need my child to not bother me for the 10 min of her short show, but of course that fails.

Save yourself some time and skip over this app, trust me.

Added files to this and cant open them.. Waste of space

This is HUGE!!!!! No need to load your device worh movies. This works so easy finds your mac and your external hard drive and boom movie time. Less then 3 mins to install and have a movie running so easy. You all rock great job!!!! Thank you

The soul function of this app is to stream movie ti iOS devices via VLC. However, the creator has taken it upon themselves to actively deactivate a feature of iOS (Airplay) in order to get you to purchase an app that doesn’t disable this feature. I’m not sure how this even made it onto the app store...

Works good enough ,quality is very pleasing wile streaming to the iPad via wifi ,the only thing youve got to have a very powerful computer an I7 processor recommended because your computer has to convert al your streaming files in real time ....wish there was a easier way something like team-viewer but still this up will give you a better overall experience You got to have an internet speed of 18 Mbps or better in order to have HD quality rendering

I cannot view the movies I copied via iTunes... This is garbage.

Doesnt work so dont waste the money or time on the paid version

This is an excellent app! I could not play .wav recordings on my iPhone, so I was looking for a tool to be able to do that. Works great.

...so get your app, install it with the ridiculous config., put up with a remote app that wont work completely unless i pay, AND your app needs a "helper app" installed on the computer AND you rip off the real VLC Media Player/streamer AND even use their icon.(videolan.org) lol. YOU have great big brass ones... Uninstalling.
